As of late, podcasts have become part of my daily routine. I’ve been frustrated with the same songs on the radio, and my spotify playlist that I’ve played to death, so I turned to my little podcast app with the hopes I’d find something to entertain me, teach me, and pass the time on my morning commute.
I found some gold.
10 Podcasts You Should Download Right Now
1. Unhappy Hour
If you’re looking for entertainment, profanity, and lots of laughs, UnHappy Hour by Matt Bellasai is your jam. Bellasai previously had a Buzzfeed segment called “Wine About It” where he famously got “drunk at his desk and complained about stuff”. Unhappy Hour = same idea.
2. Armchair Expert
Actor, Writer, and Director Dax Shepard recently started this podcast all about “the messiness of being human.” As described in episode 1, his goal is to understand struggles and failures and joys that all humans face, and his partner Monica will fact check him at the end of each episode. Really interesting concept! Warning: these episodes are LONG. So sit tight and listen while you’re folding laundry or cooking dinner. His episode with Ashton Kutcher is about 2 hours long, but it’s really cool getting to know these famous people on a real, comfortable level.
3. Goal Digger Podcast
Jenna Kutcher, blogger, photographer, and self love extraordinaire, comes to Goal Digger with advice on all things business. She interviews top influencers, business women, and girlbosses, giving you a seriously strong resource if you’re looking to build your own brand.
4. Bucci Radio
I’ve followed Amanda Bucci on Instagram and Youtube for years now, and watched her grow from a fitness influencer, to entrepreneur and business woman. While she still stays true to her fitness roots, she’s branched out and created the Influencer Academy, volunteered with Pencils of Promise, and has rebranded herself as more than just a fitness model. Her podcast encompasses fitness advice, social media tips, and her entrepreneurial spirit.
5. Punch Drunk Soul
A podcast after my own heart, Punch Drunk Soul is all things Self Development and Happy Life. It’s still quite new, only 4 episodes, but it’s got some real potential.

Gretchen Rubin, my absolute fav. I don’t know why I relate so much to this woman but I’m just gonna roll with it. Her podcast, Happier, offers little tid-bits of information on how to live a happier life. They’re not all “have a cup of coffee every day” or “smile more”, there’s some really interesting tips on how to improve your quality of life, no matter what stage of life you’re in.
9. The Intermittent Fasting Podcast
Listening to this podcast has inspired me to start an IF lifestyle! I’m gonna try it for a few weeks and see if it can work for my schedule, and see if I get any results.
